Abigail and Tony were very laid back and easy to work with! 

They were smart to choose a venue that needed NO decorating.

It is amazingly interesting and packed with very cool backgrounds for bridal portraits. 

ENJOY their photos. I had a blast doing them. They were a REALLY fun bunch!

They had a photobooth during cocktail hour and after dinner. So much fun!

I bring a 2nd (sometimes 3rd) photographer and a whole boat load of fun props and your guests go crazy!!

 We did a first look in the gallery hallway. 

At first I was totally against first looks. 

(When the bride and groom meet before the ceremony and see each other. Against tradition.)

BUT, in the end there are SOOO many reasons I advise them, to name a couple;

1. It is yet ANOTHER beautiful moment on your special day. Many couples shed tears, it is a private moment (which there are not many of on your busy wedding day). 

2. It creates so much more freedom for location, amount of time you can spend, and just scheduling of portraits. 

3. You WILL still be just as excited and emotional walking down that isle. The music, the family, the moment...it is still just as BIG!

I loved that Abigail and her bridesmaids carried candles. Very unique (didn't surprise me).

Getting better and better!

So life has so changed since I started this photography business!!

I loved blogging then....but then came facebook. 

I am an immediate gratification kind of gal. (and I have horrible grammar, so it was more my speed).

However, I realize that blogging is a great way to keep connecting, so I want to keep trying. 

I decided I will just post some random sessions here. 

I do about 3-15 sessions a week depending on the month. 

They are ALL beautiful people. 

Mostly I choose who to post based on the day I decide to blog! That is it. 

(so if you don't make it on the blog, don't take it personally!!!)

I am loving my studio. I got a great compliment from one of my gal friend photographers...

She said when she walked in it just felt like me and it made her smile (thanks Tressa).

That probably means it is a little cluttered, it doesn't match, and there are items from just about every style realm there is! That is me. :) 

Kind of like my music choices, from Zac Brown Band to Madonna in a blink of an eye.

Anyway, onto the photos...

This little guy came in for his first visit this week. He is about to be a big brother in a couple months. 

I was worried because he is TWO! Two is hard, you never know what will happen. 

But he did great!!--helps that I let kids stand on the furniture...makes it more fun. 

(and he loves superman...)

and this photo below, pretty much captures our spring...

Maybe next week I will post some newborn?

Not even going to say it, just going to do it!

Little Miss Addison, made me want to quit everything and just photograph newborns. 

I even got to hold her and feed her....aaah. Heaven.

Meg & Frank | Rochester NY Wedding Photographers| Casa Larga Weddings

Talk about laid back, you don't get much more laid back then Meg & Frank. 

They just enjoy each other. 

They had a beautiful winter wedding at Casa Larga .

On a snowy evening they had one guitar player and lots of candles. 

It was very romantic. 

There were lots of tears!

Meg bought her Maggie Sottero Dress at Blushing Bride in Brockport. 

(can I say I loved it, so much we did a bridal session, which will be soon to follow on this blog!)

Don't forget winter brides, it gets dark fast! 

We did most of our photos inside the 

store at Casa Larga because it was totally night after the ceremony. 

It was fun to be able to do some unique photos in there!

Below include a couple shots from my 2nd photographer on this day (D'marie Photography). 

We always try hard to get a great venue shot (that was Denyse's) and awesome portraits of both the bridal party and the grooms men (my 2nd photographer almost always is assigned the groom and his gang). You choose your venue for a reason! I want to be sure it is captured. 

Another note, Meg made it clear to her venue she wanted a private table for her vendors to sit at in the reception room. It was a really special touch. We felt very welcome. The food is excellent at Casa Larga! Nothing we would want to miss! (and it keeps us in the room so we don't miss any moments!!) Thank you for that Meg & Frank!

I edited Meg's full wedding with an antique touch. I don't always do it. But I thought it would put a nice little finish and go well with her colors...
